I was just wondering does anyone take regular breaks when they are on the computer or playing on video games? Because the other day I looked at one of my ps2 booklet things that are inside of the case of a game and it says to take a break every 15 mins.
I don't think anybody takes notice of that but I was curious to the damage it can do to you-playing on consoles for hours. |

I never take breaks either, the only time I take breaks is when I want to, I did notice that before though, I think it was for my gameboy, I remember it being longer though... Man, that'd be annoying to take a break every 15 minutes, you could be online playing a 20 minute game in Socom, than be the MVP, than have to pause the game and not be the MVP anymore when the games over... I doubt anyone actually does that.

lol. Yea I donno. The most I ever do is give my thumbs a munch needed grip around a cold coke to stop them from hurting lol.
But there are lots of stupid gamers out there. Lots of stories to be found if you get some time one day. Scope the net. Like theres one gamer in korea who died from playing to long and not sleeping. Check it out. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/4137782.stm Theres lots to be found out there on google. You gotta be smart when your that hardcore and remeber that there are limits lol. I donno im a memeber of a lan party in calgary and there is like a one hour sleep time every 24hours where the power is shut down to force players to go outside or eat or sleep. its crazy.

I heard about that guy before because I went to this preppy school and they were all saying I was going to die like that guy because I was always playing my PSP. But I know my limit, so that's not going to be a problem for me. Whenever I'm playing video games I stop whenever I need something (food, water, sleep, etc.)

HAHA...ever since the PSP came around, I never take breaks now. I used to have to with PS2 because it was stationary...so going to the bathroom meant a break was needed. But with PSP I just take it along with me, sometimes pausing the game while walking to the bathroom...but that's about it...
