Default A little problem with Microsoft Frontpage...

Hi,

I have a question, I am in the middle of creating a website in Frontpage and Notepad for HTML (Its more fun!) and I don't know how to create a navagation bar, for like when people click Home it goes to the Home page and when people click Contact Us for example, it takes them to the contact us page. Well what I was thinking was a bar accross the top that would have. Home, Animations, Games, Contact Us. and maybe more as well. I am going to make a site that would have the Animations and Games that I create in Flash 8.
Does anyone know how to make a nav bar?

Thanks...

In Flash?

Well, for frontpage there's a command where you can make your own, but I suggest just making a bunch of buttons next to each other (This works for all programs... :roll, because that's what looks the best.

I am just doing some flash animations in flash. But I am making the site in Frontpage. If I make the buttons how do I link the pages together?

its not that hard mate, first you need to make your index page that contains the code to create the frame like mine:

Quote:
<frameset rows=* cols='100,419*' border=0 framespacing=0 frameborder=NO>

<frame src=menu.html name=Menu margin width=2 margin height=2 noresize>

<frame src=main.html name=Main marginwidth=0 marginheight=0>

</frameset>
If you want a menu on top of the page, you will have to change the code so that rows='100,419*' instead of cols. (the 100 and 419 are the sizes of the frames, keep on adjusting these till your page looks right)

SRC = the location of the web-page, notice I have Main.html and Menu.html, you then choose names for the frames.

Then in your menu page, the code for the links should be like:
Quote:
Scores
Let me know if you have any more probs, though I have never used frontpage, I make all my webpages in notepad.
