mini's are nanos in essence, just without all the thrills of color screen, shiny-ness, and small(er) size. They do have advantages, however. If you are hard on your electronics, then a mini is for you...they are virtually impossible to break. Personally, i have a color screen 30 gig...after breaking my original 40gig and then another 40 gig.

Didn't I kinda say that already?

4GB is MORE than I'll ever need. What are you going to do with 1,000 songs? I have 150 on right now and I don't even NEED all of them. Plus it's small and pretty durable, as long as you have a skin for it.

It's stupid when people fill up their iPods with 1,000,000 songs but only listen to like 200. (there's no need for 60GB)

Whatever you do, don't get a video...my friends battery dies after like a half hour of playing videos, and like an hour of listening to songs.
Amen to that
