I must have missed the match you watched them play in mate. They have been far from class in the matches I have seen, more like a bunch of diving, whinging, nasty play actors.

.......but that's the way they play football in southern Europe and South America!!

And if that Italian hadn't dived over the Aussie he'd have tripped over the next blade of grass!!

I know that is the way they play but it's far from class.

Besides, unless the ref falls for their disgusting antics Portugal aren't even going to beat England, never mind win the competition.

With todays matches you'd have to go for Brazil & Spain for the final 8, France are decidely lacklustre at present.

I can't see the Ukraine team going anywhere but home on Saturday, the match against the Swiss last night was boring beyond belief, neither team deserved to go forward.

Portugal - Deco = England Win
Brazil + Ronaldo + Cafu + Roberto Carlos = Brazil lose
England + Rooney = England win

I think Argentina have produced the best football too early in the competition. Would never rule out the Germans.

I'm from Ireland so I'm not bias to any team (in fact I would be more bias AGAINST england) so thats just what I think.

england need to get their act together before they can try and win anything, best thing i think they should do is bring rooney off on the second half, he's too fat and tired all the time.

Yep, you would be what is known in footballing terms as an ABE.

ABE? would I be one if I hated engerland (being from wales)?

did you hear about the attacks in scotland on a kid that was playing footie in the park wearing an england top? got beat up for no reason other than what he was wearing.

Same sort of thing happens on cars with the flags on them.

I respect your statement, though I don't really agree 100%. I think that if Brazil takes those players out, they'll lose. They might not be doing very well, but they have always been key players on the team. Ronaldo might not have the steam he used to, but he's still good. Maybe it will help, and maybe not. I wouldn't take any chances. Maybe just setting them out for a half would be good.

And Rooney didn't do too hot against Equador last match. But I think if he can get his act back together in the next match and get better shots off, then they'll have a chance. Just my opinions....

Robinho I think is a much better player and would fit much better into the style of Ronaldinho, Kaka etc than Ronaldo. Also I think Cicinho is a better than Cafu as Cafu's legs have gone and he's not the tireless wingback of old. Also the player Juninho is much better in the holding role than Emerson. I think they have much stronger players on the bench.

As for Rooney, he's only starting to get Match Fit because of the lengthy injury.

As for being an ABE, I would say so just because I'm from Northern Ireland and if you know anything about the politcal status there you would see why. Honestly though it's not a major issue, I don't hold it against anyone. I would rather discuss PSP or football with someone.
