I just got hold of a two day old V2.0 PSP for £40
My fiance's friend bought it for her oldest son at Christmas but a few days later her youngest son got hold of it and broke the UMD drawer off (just the black plastic cover - not the actual mechanism). She claimed on the house insurance and got a new PSP but just put the 'broke' one back in it's box and left it in a cupboard. She mentioned this in passing a few days ago and I asked to see it - I said I could fix it and she said I could have it for the price of the insurance excess which was £40! Naturally I said yes then spent 18 quid on a new UMD drawer which I installed last night (and it wasn't as easy as you'd think). It is now in perfect shape and has been downgraded to V1.5. I also stand corrected in one thing though. I have been misinformed about the brand of LCDs in all non-Japanese PSPs. Installing the drawer meant removing the LCD and in doing this I noticed it was Sharp branded. So it's possible Sharp LCDs are on other PSPs other than Japanese ones although I suspect Samsung is the more common. Anyway, a good deal don't you think? ![]()

Keep it. I sold my original Japanese PSP to a friend so this is my only one now.
