I have figerd out why theres no motorcycels in liberty city 2001.Well,theres 2 possibilitys,ether rockstars lazy,or...the protest group American,Road,Safety,For,Everybody (A.R.S.E) have been protesting in the game cliaming they are a threat to humanity.If you look in your LCS's the giud book is a news paper,there the artical lays.I'm sure you peoples already knew this,seeing is how all hardcore gamer heads you all are.It clearly reads "If the city doesn't take action,then we will have to start"it all comes together perfatcly.Thus,A.R.S.E continues there fight to bann these motor polution evil machines.See,rockstar can cover up there mastake,...now about why Tommy,Toni,Fido....and about there "can't swim" thing going on......i just thought that i should share this with you guys..-Agomae

About the no swimming thing, it was because of an oil spill in the ocean. I swear it was in the LCs book i think. have a look.

their game engine was too weak to handle that GTA was the best of its time anyways you have to consider the time it took to do what they did in it and not what they didnt do air vehicles wouldnt work on that engine because of the gravity isssues and motorcycles contained too many polygons and overall decreased the framerate the problem with swimming is its difficult to do that with a vehicale and walking on solid mesh only game so they have reasons rockstar is the last people id call lazy
