ops: Years ago, when i was playing a game, tokimeki or something,I found the heroine and her life was so perfect, with a passion towards Japanese school culture. Now, I do know that is a work colored by artists and programmers. As for schools, most of them are the same worldwide, I suppose. To treasure your time with classmates and your devil teachers, the tough years may fade out as time goes by but the wonderful details and knowledge.
Try to see the sun instead of the cloud.

Pagnell.... Mid forties  You cheeky git.... we still had desks with ink wells when I was at school but we did have long trousers and not caps too so I aint that old.

Yep corperal punishment was riff at my school when I started but changed about halfway through my stay there.
Slippers and canes were the norm... the cane across the palms and the slipper on yer bum... if you were caught doing something really bad then it was a cane across the backs of the fingers.... NOW THAT REALLY HURTS.

Firts few years at the scool were great last couple, when the do gooders stooped the cane etc, were just turmoil... kids mucking about in classes, back chatting teachers and generally being.... well... kids I guess but the standards dropped and the attitude to learn just evaporated... shame really as I know a few little nippers that could benefit from a good whipping with a cane
