a little off topic but i hear the chinese dudes are getting rich.Cuz they have a lot of people in all.USA is the most powerful country now but theory shows,in time china will dominate and be next in power.Well actally not theory,but some old old man on the street...so i said "what gives" so he says "nothing gives everything takes" well..nvm...i don't know where im going with this..agian..but point is when..supposily when china is next in power,they'll have cash to accomplish more wich mean space travel will be in the packege..wich mean they'll go to the moon..mabye in 2014...just mabye,however I find this all rubbish though..crazy old folks

Well, that will probally not happen and if it does I garuntee it won't be in our lifetime, unless our government would somehow destroy our country in war or what not. I do agree China is rising in power, but the U.S. is a very strong country right now. I do think that their one day will be another power, the U.S. is the new Rome, just like the French, British, and Greeks were at one time the true power.

Personally I think the whole 1969 moon landing was faked but couldn't give a rat's ass either way. So some insecure people from Earth might have gotten to the moon. Woopeedoo. I'd say spending money on the problems here is more important than a childish international game of 'my ****s bigger than yours'.

Mind you, the rate we are going as a species, there won't be any air to breath in 50 years time so perhaps alternative habitat research isn't that bad an idea.

So true Pagnell. By the way Agomae, I never responded to your "You American voted for Bush." Yes, some did, I did not. I thought Gore would do a better job and I think now that people look back, a lot of Americans agree. The next president will be a Democrat(yay) because of Bush's reputation. Even some die hard Republicans disagree with Bush and his actions. Different topic though.
