The other thing that ****es me off is that they VERY rarely do anything with the engine... :x

They'll take a 1984 Ford Escort, with 300,000 miles on it, and add 8 LCD monitors, two 12" subs, neon lights all over the place. But not do so much as to CLEAN the engine...

This is because the average neddy Escort owner has no desire to do anything with something that can't be seen. In their little minds they need to 'chav up' the exterior and interior so they can feel cool when people look at them as they're driving past. They are completely oblivious to the fact 99.9% of the people who are looking at them are thinking 'What a complete tosser.'

slightly off topic, well very off topic but theres an escort cosworth being driven around my area by an old woman, she never tools it or anything, I want to buy it as it will be in near mint condition with no problems with the engine..........I can dream......

oh my god you should have seen one escort I saw the other day, a mark 4 in red with a sh1te white bumber on the front, no skirts on the side and half an old white bumper on the back, looked a monstrosity!
