Why would he be being sarcastic? I don't know the difference either because I find American Rugby/Throwball/Eggchasing (it isn't Football) to be stop start, uneventful and a bit stupid to be honest.

If I asked you what the difference was between Rugby Union or Rugby League would you know without looking it up? I suspect not.

I expected a discussion about Liverpool and Manchester United when I clicked this topic....

Anyway, I call American Football, American Rugby because I don't see why its FOOTball when it shares much more with Rugby. But thats my view not everyone elses. The NFL is superhuge and probably doesn't care what I call it.

I didn't even know there were other types of rugby. Rugby has no voice whatsoever in sports in the U.S., so I guess i'm out of the loop there. And NFL is the most dominating sport in the U.S.

yeah, i dont know why they call it football (NFL), but i still love it. i guess the only time your foot touched the ball is on a field goal or punt
