Default Vancouver - Canada

Hi all,

I am going to Vancouver, Canada for christmas in December and want to know if anyone knows any good shops to go to for games and electronic devices.

Can't wait.....

We are staying on Robson St.

Also, anyone know any good restaurants.

Hello... Robson Street is way COOL... Future Shop is on that street so have a good nose around in there... also EB games in tha Pacific Centre is ok... plus the TWO SONY stores in Van too.

As for restaurants... you name it we have it... so far the best restaurant in Van that I have found is in North Van up on the hill called 'The Salmon House on the hill'... just ask Big Ben (Barman) for a table in the bar and not the restaurant and you will have the BEST view of Vancouver at night and the food is great plus on a Friday and Saturday night Checo T is always playing live.... he of the commodores and a family friend... man he makes a great Brunch... also you need to check out to see if the VOC has any concerts around the time your over... I thionk Checo will have done them all by Christmas.

Also a visit up Grouse mountain to sample the simple foods in the restaurant up there is great as the view will freak you out and the snow scene is just magical.

Vancouver has something for everyone and all ages... check out the net for all the attractions.... Storyeum is also cool and it's in Gastown so tourist shops abound... remember that so much on Vancouver shopping is UNDERGROUND.... three stories of underground shopping malls... just in case it ghets too chilly up top (-9) last December one day I was in town.
I will be flying out of Van a couple of days prior to Christmas for business and family visits so I cannot show you around myself.

Have fun.
