We're the one that's not metric, but we use the metric system sometimes...

1 mph = 0.44704 m / s

1 kph = 0.277777778 m / s

It does matter. So looking at this mph is almost 2 times faster that kph.

Alright, alright, alright, alright, alright...

You guys are just confusing yourselves and everyone else.

In the U.S. we use MPH, feet, pounds, inches, gallons, etc.

I thought you guys over in the UK used the metric system like KPH, centimeters, grams, meters, liters, etc., but I think I'm wrong now.

In Canada, I think they use KPH too, but I think Des was talking MPH.

From what I can gather, the U.S. and UK use MPH and Canada uses KPH, but Des is used to the British way, so he used MPH, amirite???

In Canada speed is measured in KPH... but being an old git from the UK I still think in MPH.

You will find depending in which industry you belong that metric or imperial are used... sometimes both.... then we have NATO standards which really does drive me mad.

All i know is that 30 mph is 50 kph.

VAMP, we measure petrol in litres, and beer in pints. And measurements of length is both feet and inches, cetimetres if its small.
