Tesco is the Supermarket giants here in the UK. Not even Asda (owned by wal-mart) can out-do tesco. Tesco are way too big to be taken over now.

Well walmart in a way have come to the UK in the form of ASDA (another supermarket), but they cannot knock tesco off the top spot.

I dont know why tesco dosent come to the US, they certainly have the funds for it i can guarentee that.

Maybe... maybe not. Tesco have the money to set up but they need to do it in such a way that it blows a whole in walmarts grip. Tesco are in alot of countries, trading under different names (for image purposes). I believe they are in australia aswell, and like these small islands near spain they have lots of corner shop type stores.

There was a tv program about "how tesco will take over the world", it was quite funny actually, and some quite scary
