Target's kinda big here (nowhere near the size of Wal-Mart though) and there are a few K-Marts left too.

A little more west like in Phoenix and L.A. and such, their main supermarket chain is called Ralph's.
Wow you know what I just noticed...my mom wants to move to Colorado...awesome...oh and why do you hate Walmart? I hate Kmart but Walmart?

The store's nice, they have everything you need for good prices, but I hate the way they treat their workers.

They don't pay them for overtime, they don't offer good health insurance, they don't let them unionize, they run sweatshops in other countries so they can undercut their competition, it goes on and on. They're horrible.

Yeah, unfortunately sometimes I do Des, I really should learn to read the labels better though so I can avoid being hypocritical. And on that same point, I saw in a documentary about Wal-Mart that a lot of their products are made in sweatshops in China.

Oh and Ryder, unionize is when workers join a union that represents them in negotiations for better wages and working conditions with the company they work for.

What I mean by running sweatshops to undercut the competition is that they have people from other countries make their products so they can pay them less and they can make them work ridiculous hours in bad working conditions to make more products for less price, then they can charge less for those products than other stores charge for their American made products.
