Just wanted to make a thread dedicated to a day we only see once every 4 years, February 29th. It seems bright and sunny outside so it should be a good day, besides, its Friday.

For some of you who may not know I wanted to give a short explanation on why we get an extra day added on every four years. You see, it actually takes the earth about 365.25 days to make a complete circle around the sun. It seems a lot easier to just count 365 days for 3 years, and then added up the quarters for an extra day during the 4th year.

oh lol... you remind me of someone at school who always goes on about everything.. We all say he researches the next days arguments on wikipedia lol

Well I don't do that. I just remembered about it from back in high school, so decided to include it.

Aw I missed it. I was gunna wish you guys happy 29th of Feb but oh well. I should've taken advantage of McDonalds' sale and got some 29 cent nuggets.

I was announcing a basketball tournament for the radio all day so i didn't even realize it was a Leap Day. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait for the next one.

Oh and we do the time change thingie because of some stupid farmer tradition I think...

Its daylight saving apparently, the world tilts or something, i dunno, anywho, means i get an hour extra sleep one night a year.
