Seen it, there were at least 2 TVs that supported this at CES. They called it quad Full HD or something of the sort. It basically has 4 parts that are capable of showing a 1080p resolution picture at once, or they can all be put together to show one thing at 4 x 1080p.
I am not sure if this is really necessary. Sure, maybe on that 150" plasma, or even anything over 60", but most of the TVs do not really need something like that. I don't think our eyes would be able to tell the difference. |

I disagree. We have HD service from Directv and I pretty much only watch HD shows now because I can't stand SD any more, SD looks like garbage to me in comparison.
Also, Blu-rays on our tv look amazing. ![]() |
