Default How to update custom firmware?

Hi , I have downgraded from 3.03 to 1.5 firmware using the GTA method. I want to find some detailed steps on how to upgrade to the "custom firmware". I have read in some forums about DAX Custom Firmware. Can't find instructions in this forum. Can anyone help on how I can do this?
Thanks a lot.

It's in the first sticky in this section. BTW, that's a funny username, did you pick it because you like that website or do you work there or something? I think it's a good site.

Hi Vamp , Thanks for the reply. Just to be sure :-
On the first sticky named "Downgrading - Upgrading - Unbricking - TUTORIAL"
Then at the "Upgrading" section follow instructions to say upgrade 3.50.
Does this mean I can still play the homebrew games and games which may require firmware higher than 1.5?
Btw just choose the u/name as i like the site

Yup that's right. You get the best of both worlds.

Sh*t, my fault. I don't fuss with all the homebrew stuff, so I didn't know. Sorry.

You don't use homebrew or custom firmware? Seriously?

Not all people do, and to be honest i dont have any homebrew on my PSP.

If i could get deadallus R13 working to play goldeneye then i would have that but apart from that i only have custom firmware for reasons not talked about on here.
