You have to put the magic memory stick in and then you put the pandoras battery in with no other power supply connected. Then it should auto boot. If not then the pandoras battery is not charged suficiently or the magic memory stick was not created properly.

You need the magic memory stick files on the memory stick to continue with converting to custom firmware.
Do this first ^^^^ Run through the easy installer program and the files will be copied over for you. Do steps 1 - 3 Ignore step 4 Turn the PSP off completely Quote:
nb, If you have a problem copying the files over then its pointless carrying on with the other steps. The 'shoutbox' is on the psp-forum main page - click the logo at the top of the screen |

I am very sorry for the inconvenience I am giving to all. Since I already started this, I do want to stop not until I had succeeded. Unfortunately, I am not going anywhere the way I am doing it. Since I am new to this kind of things, I find it a little bit complicated, although you were saying it is very EASY, for me it was not. What I really need from you guys, is to get the most simplest way on how to do it. I am really feeling diappointed and restless because I failed. considering the financial expenses I had incurred, I can already buy a new set of modified PSP unit without having this kind of stress. HR, as you had ssuggested, doing the step 1 -3 and ignoring step 4 I had done it plenty times already last night, I was doing it for almost 3 hours, but nothing had changed from my unit. I was sharing to you what I am really doing in this way you could correct me immediately, if ever I did not do it right. That is my problem, I cannot copy the files. I strictly followed all the information you had given me and I cannot believe that I had not done it. IN step 2 the memory stick will be formatted now, press y prompt enter. Yes I did it, only the memory stick on it, connected in the USB cable, in my PSP unit USB MOde, the AC adaptor is connected too. Last edited by lisa; 07-29-2008 at 10:31 AM. |
