again, thank you very much for those who are really helping us to come up working PSP. HR I had dowloaded the rapid sharing site which you have given. I am not just sure if I had saved it to the right place since I am not good in computer guidelines/info. Just now, I had done what you just said, ON the unit without the battery, just the AC adaptor and it has a power. Like I had said, I am really losing HOPE and CHANCE of doing it right.

Does the menu come up on the psp when you plug it in without the battery?
If so great. If thats what you meant by "power on", i apologise Next step is to, EXTRACT THE FILES from the file you downloaded. Make sure you have WINRAR INSTALLED, this will enable you to EXTRACT. TRY TO REMEMBER WHERE YOU SAVE THINGS the desktop is a good place to save things |

as you had instructed I did it,without the battery the unit has power and I was able to see the menu on it.My concern is, during the formatting of memory stick and following the guide of Tergazzi, we install the pandora battery and the memory stick at the same time, step # 1 and 2 was fine; when we proceed to step #3, since the unit has ONLY GREEN LIGHT but the SCREEN IS BLACK, we were not able to format the memory stick, and this is the reason why I cannot proceed and continue the procedure, because we were HANG UP at step #3.
I was thingking I might not able to convert the phat battery into pandora successfully or the memory stick has a problem BUT NO, because when I brought the unit to the supplier to complain about being not able to play games in the memory stick, the staff had tried to download video and music on the same memory stick, meaning it is really working. LOL
The File you downloaded does the formatting for you ![]() Plug in the PSP with just the AC adaptor and no battery The menu comes up Then go to USB connection and the PSP will connect to the computer. __________________________________________________ ____________ For this next step you need WINRAR. Make sure you have this installed to your computer Then the next step. Make sure you have EXTRACTED all the files from the File you downloaded from rapidshare. this is what winrar is for, next(what you just installed) To EXTRACT the very important files, right click the Pandora file you downloaded from rapidshare, and select "extract here" from the menu. Some files will appear in the same folder you have the downloaded pandora file from rapishare in. THESE ARE VERY IMPORTANT FILES FOR CUSTOM FIRMWARE Do that, and let me know |

After I have connected my PSP to the USB connection what would be the next thing that I should do, in doing so, do I have to put the pandora battery and memory stick too at the same time? What would be the next step? Does this mean the files that I had downloaded will AUTOMATICALLY transfer to the PSP, or do I have to do it manually? After doing all those mentioned above, what will be my next step. Thank you very much for being patient to share to me your knowledge. I am really interested to learn, I am being challenged although a little bit complicated on my part. |

High Roller, I would like to ask again for your kind assistance. With lots of people helping me and with differents sites given, I m already confused and my mind has been stressed with different ideas on hand which on the other hand I am not getting nowhere and until now I had not downgraded my PSP. Can you help to only concentrate in one particular site/installer needed. May I ask you to help me, in giving me guides and procedures, lets start all over again, please. In my case, have I able to successfully pandorized the battery? Please bear with me, I am really interested to learn and gain knowledge as all of you are sharing your ideas and knowledge.
Thank you for your time and patience in helping me. I am looking forward for your great help. |

1. MAKE SURE YOU PSP HAS NO BATTERY INSERTED, AND IS CONNECTED TO THE AC ADAPTOR.... AND GO TO USB CONNECTION TO CONNECT IT TO YOUR COMPUTER. OK? WE CAN CONTINUE 3. Next step is to double click the folder (Pandora + Universal Downgrader Easy Installer) you EXTRACTED to open up a window, 4. Inside the folder is a file called "AUTORUN" Double click this. 5. Where is says "step 1" press "go" and it will ask you to connect you PSP. Connect it to the PC with the AC apaptor and Click onto USB connection on you PSP. 6. When the PSP is connected Press OK. 7. A menu will come up, and ask you to find your PSP. The PSP is in my computer, find it and Press OK Go through the wizard until you have finished! High Roller, sorry for being stubborn, you mean to say I will only do step #1 and wait for your further instruction in step 3, it says REboot your PSP. what does this mean. Ok, If you have successfully done everything correctly - The Pandoras Battery was correctly made, the files were copied across to the PSP. Then this is what you need to do
1. Turn the PSP on with the AC adaptor inserted and no battery. 2. Turn the PSP off by holding the power switch up, until the unit switches off completely. DO not let go of the power switch until the green light goes off. 3. Remove the power cable 4. Get the battery and place it in the PSP. (Make sure it is fully charged) 5. If it works, the psp should come on automatically and begin an update, place the cover over the battery and allow the update to complete. 6. You should now be on custom firmware. You may want to repair the battery to become a normal battery and not a Pandora Hope it goes well |
