Hi,
I've been asked to make a pandora's battery for a friend, I seem to be getting stuck at step 11 of the guide: Execute "msipl" application on the PC with the msipl.bin to write the IPL to memory stick. firstly where is the msipl app I cant find it, and how do you make it work with the msipl.bin file which is now on the memcard? Thanks (I'm sure its quite simple but it's not obvious for me lol) |

I didn't see a slim one. If there is one, my bad.
In that case, however, you should also add a guide/alternative/something that goes over DAX's unbricker. Better than Pandora. (Although there might already be one, I seem to have lost the ability to read a thread properly )Constantine P.S. for the guy above me, go to the msinstl folder in the pandora folder you downloaded from cmd. then type msinst (psp drive letter) msipl.bin, hit enter, hit yes, type exit, you're done.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I finally got around to making a good Pandora's battery tutorial. Kev's tutorial didn't work, but that's not his fault as he got it from a post on QJ that the guy had no idea what he was doing.
The new Pandora's tutorial will downgrade/unbrick all current versions of the PSP Phat and Slim. I have tested it personally with a Slim, and while I didn't type it while I downgraded the Slim, I remember how I downgraded it and have confidence that it will work. |

Np, I just really felt like updating it since I tried it a while back with a phat and it didn't work, and I finally got around to doing it. I actually put a link to another tutorial up for a while, but this one's much better and it works on both Slim and Phat, the original tut I put up only worked on the Phat.
