Well, thats what I have tried and still no joy.

Are there any settings in the recovery mode that may need changing?

Ok, I get can the battery converted to pandora type, but the creation of the files is the part that is failing. Can I get the memory stick already done? ie ALL the files ready just to plonk on the stick?

Cheers,

Catch.

You can buy one already made but I think you have to buy the battery with it.

Its really not that hard, its probably the easiest out of the whole process.

on my sig theres a tut. half way down is a pandora battery magic memory stick creator (Rapidshare - Total noob installer) - its quite possibly the easiest one ever created. and as demonstrated, you have to be close virtually braindead to mess it up. Try it, it does does everything for you

Tried this and the installer part will not run and neither will the pandora part. It keeps saying that the game cannot start.

All sorted. It was purely the formatting stopping it from working. I used mspformat via the command prompt in XP and it seems to have done the trick.

Cheers guys!!

based from the guides/tutorial you had given me, I am definitely sure that I had followed them. This is what I really did and correct me if I am wrong.

Open the Psp unit connect it to the computer, thru USB CABLE, on the USB MODE. In the computer there appears open a folder, which I press ok, PSP appears in the drive F, I click PSP.

In the folder, I double click the link I had downloaded, there appears step 1, which I open and there appears in the right hand corner, in the small square a letter F, does this mean I had FAILED or just showing me the drive of the PSP. then I proceed to step 2 which says the memory stick will automatically format and asks me to press Y and enter which I did but nothing happen. I proceed to the next step till step 4, but nothing came out.

Thank you very much for your great help and assistance, I really appreciate the time you are extending, but as a newcomer to such things I am still confuse if I am doing the right way or not. Please I badly neeede your HELP and patience for me to be able to accomplish doing the custom firmware.

Lisa i really do think you have to add me, high roller or whoever else willing to help to msn.

If you dont have MSN, get it and sign up with a hotmail account. We will be able to guide you through every little step where you can give us exact feedback on whats going on. I have done this with a number of people and all have got it in the end.
