Make sure you have: These Programs::: Winrar - This is to look inside the "14995_Pandora_UltimateMagisSticker2.rar" archive - an archive is like a folder, but you need winrar to look inside it and make the files normal. Without winrar, you cant carry on making a custom firmware PSP. OK? EXTRACT the "14995_Pandora_UltimateMagisSticker2.rar" to somewhere easy to remember like the desktop, you will later need these files. Basically, you turning the .rar achive into normal files in a folder ![]() Rar Archive ----------------------------> Normal files Once they are normal files, you can use them. You then follow the instructions with the file "readme.txt" and then; format the memory card; Install the magic memory stick files on the memory stick; Place in the pandora battery. If you have doen it correctly, the psp should power on automatically and begin the update. You then have a CFW PSP Its that simple PLEASE NOTE: you cannot miss a step because it is too expensive. Thats what i think is happening here. We cannot help you if you dont do everything thats required - NO SHORTCUTS |

It is not that I am avoiding to spend BIG money, aside from this of course I had wasted lot of time downloading different sites, imagine in the 14749 EasyInstaller site it takes us 8 hrs. to download it, when it reaches 98% it was ABORTED, then I will try again the other site and it is even worse, everything were just USELESS given in this forum, the other one would suggest like this and the other would give again another, because I am VERY interested to learn , to understand and to apply all the information given so I've been trying download all the sites suggested, thru this it broaden my horizon unfortunately I DID NOT SUCEED and I've been doing this trial and error since April, but I can see I am going nowhere. Since, April I had been paying the internet provider for an excess of hours, in doing so just to help me achive, but I still keep on trying hoping that oneday I can get it. Actually, I feel like giving up. I believe that there are some people out there who are an experts on this, that is why we were asking for your assistance. All the efforts exerted, thank you very much. That, I realized, I am not really EXCELLENT on this.
It is not that I am avoiding a particular step and jumping to the next, what I mean is, we cannot proceed to the next step and go on to the REST because we did not succeed in that particular step, as I had explained, following the guides given by Tregazzi, we have reviewed and followed it accurately, in step #3 as we tried, nothing came on the screen of the PSP, as it says there, format your memory stick but cannot be able to format the memory stick because the PSP does not ON the screen, only GREEN light power Last edited by lisa; 07-08-2008 at 12:31 PM. So now your saying your psp dosent turn on at all? Just the green light stays on?
Im confused now, is it just me or does this sound like the screen has pooped out lol. I cant be bothered to read through all the posts again to find out, but if your psp isnt turning on, then id say sort that out first, if its bricked then you wont be able to create the mem card on the psp in the first place. I probably got all this wrong but oh well. Kev ![]()

IF the green light come on but there is nothing on the screen, then it suggests the PSP is ok, but theres nothing on the memory stick.... yeah.
It will probably switch on with no battery in, and just the AC adaptor inserted, then switch it on. did you try to download the other file I gave for you to download? Introduction to Modifying Your PSP for Noobs Ive downloaded this and confirmed it working. You really need this if you want to suceed. But first try what i wrote above in bold Forget megaupload, try that other download. come back when you have got it, and we can work from there i think |
