I'm gonna have to mail you my PSP sometime and ask you to install CF for me Bam, I'm a total n00b when it comes to CF, but it has been tempting me lately. That is of course if you'd do that for me.

It actually quite amazes me how you can build trust with people over the internet. I mean VAMP would send his PSP to a teenage lad (no offence bamhm) who he has never met. And same with Monkey Business was willing to send me his battery and Memory card to me who for all he knows could be some fraudster or something.

Quite amazing i think.

Yeah, but VAMP and I have actually talked on the phone. Than again, it's not that hard to talk on the phone to a scammer.

I'd be happy to mod your PSP for you VAMP. Just send it to me and I'll hack it and take it to the pawn shop... er... I mean... the post office, yeah, that's it, the post office...

MUAHAHAHAHA!

That's true, but then again, I know you live close (semi-close at least), so I could drive down to Springs, track you down, and shave your head. lol

Run "installer" through the firmware on the PSP. (found under game section of your psp) This application will create the firmware files on the root of the Memory Stick, as well as msipl.bin
I am stuck at this point.

I have two memory sticks, two batteries. One battery and memory stick is of a PSP which had 3.80 CFW with 1.5 Kernel Add-on. Now, I don't find the 'Installer' command in the firmwire of the PSP. Can anyone explain this to me? Thanks.

I'm confused, where are you getting that from? I looked for it, but couldn't find it...

Also, just wanted to say that I'll be uploading Desperetar del Cementerio v5 soon.

Sounds like a section of the pandora battery method.

Babuks, is one of these batteries a 'pandora battery'?
if msipl is run, then it means that the psp will boot from the memory stick and allow the update to commence on Official Firmware PSPs...

Fill me in

Peace

I guessed that because of the msipl part, but if that is true, that'd mean that it was from before I edited the tutorial into one that actually works a couple weeks ago...

EDIT: Also, I just added a link to a 256 MB memory stick for $1.50 to the items needed part of the Pandora Guide. I should be ordering mine soon, as well as a better card reader for my computer.

And, didn't even think about that, I assumed one of them would be a Pandora's battery. If one of them isn't modded, you'll need to do that.

Lastly, I updated my Desperetar del Cementerio pack to v5, I forgot to post about it though.
