The only way for you to downgrade is through pandora battery. See first page.

If you want your PSP to be running on 3.80 M33 you have to downgrade and upgrade to custom firmware. If you are on 3.80 official firmware the only way for you to do that is ny using pandora battery. See first page.

Default Confused Newbie

Hi there guys,

I hope this post isn't just me being really really thick but I need help to downgrade my PSP, I've brought a pandora battery from ebay and downloaded tergazzi's walkthrough of creating the magic memory stick without the need of a custom firmware psp ....

I've tried making it, and popped it into my PSP with the Pandora Battery and nothing happens

just wanted to know find out a few things:

1.) how do you test if a Pandora Battery brought from eBay is a working Pandora Battery?

2.) if it is a working Pandora Battery then should I need a custom firmware PSP to downgrade my PSP?

3.) are any issues caused by trying to make the magic memory stick via Vista?

cheers in advance

1)If you just pop the pandora battery in, if its working the green light will automatically come on.

2)If you already have the pandora you do not need another PSP.

3)Not that i know of.

Default Eurika!!

Hey Monkey Business,

After reading your reply I was doing a lil more researching around, and noticed this link:
YouTube - Install Pandora's Battery Without 1.50orCFW (SLIM+FAT PSP)
Had my girlfriends laptop sitting at mine cos i'm repairing it, and thought I'd try it on there ... works a charm ... looks like vista can't format the memory card correctly!!
