Default Flash Development Kit poll for homebrew users

I am wondering if Sony made a Flash Development Kit for the PSP if you would upgrade to 2.7 or higher.

I already upgraded! But i would upgrade again if they did! Flash games IMO are a good alternative to Emulators as you can keep the ability to buy new games. The only problem with the flash games as they are is that the button's don't map so if they provided a dev kit specifically for PSP Flash or somehow provide functionailty to map your PSP buttons to any key on a keyboard it would be class!

What would Sony need to do for those of you that said no to say yes(other than allow homebrew if that's what you were going to say)

I think Homebrew is kind of stupid (probably because I have 2.71).
Why would people buy a $250 brand spanking new piece of technology, to play 10-year old games on it? and run the risk of bricking it and throwing that $250 down the drain

Oh yea, and not having the Browser or Flash.

IMO it's not worth it.

But, HEY whatever floats your boat

They do have the browser if they want to buy the $30 Wipeout Pure or whatever  and yeah, that's what I'm saying, why would they risk bricking thier psps when they could go get a $10 game gear or game boy from a local pawn shop, also with the flash development kit, it woud be a good idea if you could find flash games off the internet stick them in it and it maps out the Keys on the psp, like select for space for the spacebar and start for whatever Pause is. That would unlock A LOT of games to be played on the psp, especially Donkey Kong, I've wanted to play that on the psp, because that was one of my favorite games when I was a kid, lol. Than they could play the LEGAL and safe flash version of games, that would get Sony to quit stressing on the homebrew and get to the actuall development of the PSP

All the homebrew on sites like psp-homebrew have been tried and tested and also previously downloaded by many others already, so its very and i mean very rarely going to brick a psp from a well known source.

And some homebrew is actually more fun than the psp games. Fun is the deciding factor in games not graphics.

Oh, okay, but what if the team psp or whatever hack one of those well know sites and add thier emulator, tons of people will download it, and they will get bricked

I think the people at sony have got better things to do than hack internet sites, which is rather hard to do anyway.

And if you worry about unlikely things like that then only download the things that people say have tried and tested, with the download count and reviews.
