With 2.0 you will use the tiff exploit. This can be done with the brown ale eloader from fanjita.org

You will need a bigger memory card and a copy of GTA. You can learn how to do this in one of the "sticky" posts.

He doesn't need GTA because he has 2.0 firmware and he will use the TIFF exploit instead. The eloader installion has an option for TIFF or GTA exploit and you will choose the TIFF one.

Oh, didn't know that. I have 2.6 so I don't know much about homebrew.

Yep the Tiff exploit is for 2.0 firmware and the Gta exploit is for 2.1 to 2.6 firmwares. So if you update from your 2.0 firmware you would have to buy GTA to use the eloader as the Tiff exploit would not work anymore.

GTA won't do you anygood with 2.0 unless you upgrade. Instead you can use the tiff exploit which is just as good. Don't confuse the two. There are some homebrew that are small enough. The nes & snes emulators are good to have. The roms, especially the nes roms don't take up much space.

In my opinion you can't hardly do much without a gig of memory. If you can afford it buy it because it will open a whole new world to you. Not just homebrew but you can put your music and movies, tv episodes on it.

True, ill save up for a bigger card.

Ill try this tiff exploit thing and get back to you.
Edit: I tried the tiff and i got the things in the photo menu but when i go onto them my PSP freezes and turns off.

A gig of memory? Not true - unless he plans to use it for movies or music (which he makes no mention of), 512mb is more than adequate for any homebrew use. Funky, check out my Firmware Version Thread for details of what each firmware can do via homebrew and links to the exploits required.
