Default Gimme some names yall..!!

Greetings,

As I'm sure is quite obvious to all you hardcore PSP freaks I am new in this world and have some questions. In a previous post I questioned the whole value of running homebrew games on the PSP as I had (and still have) some doubts about the quality of game available. This was naturally met with comments rallying around the concept and assuring me that there are in fact freely available games which do match or indeed surpass the quality of some of the more popular, "paid for" games.

This all sounds well and good and I want to jump on the bandwagon but I need some titles to go and try. What are some names of worthwhile homebrew games that would interest someone who loves games like GTA and SOCOM..?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ummm...Thanks. Did you read the post..?

Why won't anyone offer up some hombrew titles..? Clearly it's good stuff just point me in the right direction.

Everyone who reads this: Now, it's fairly simple, so read carefully.

1. Think of your favourite homebrew game
2. Picture the name of it in your head
3. Transfer that same name to this forum by way of the keyboard.

Done.

Seriously guys, this is like the third time I've asked...

Ok let's see, here are some SNES titles:

Super Metroid
Megaman X, X2, X3
Battle Toads
Tales of Phantasia
Dragon Ball Z HyperDimension
Chrono Trigger

Well they're not like GTA or SOCOM but give 'em a try. They're pretty popular and you might like at least one or two. Assuming you can play these with a 2.6 PSP...

You can also play games like Quake and Wolfenstein with a 1.5 PSP. And also tetris or chess because those games are a must.

Normal Apps: (I don't know if they'll work)
FileAssistant
PSP Calendar
PSPaint

Cheers Bob. I had a feeling you were the man and I guess I was right. If you wouldn't mind just one more question...What exactly is an RPG..? I know what it stands for but I thought that it covered SOCOM and GTA. Are these two not RPGs and if not, what are they classified as..?

Cheers.
