Hey Guys im a total noob trying to install hombrew on my PSP

I have read this and a couple threads as im running V2.81 and on the 1st page it says that there are no current solution.
Can anybody help me with some info on how to install homebrew on V2.81 or a downgrade my apolgizes if this is a duplicate

Geno look at my thread next to this one, 2.81 i believe you will need to upgrade to 3.03, 3.50 and downgrade using GTA LCS/lumines respectively.

Hi all,

I just got a PSP and want to do some customisation to it as per this site.

It is a new "Slim & Light" model and i can't tell if i am able to do anything with it.

Any ideas?

Yeah you can downgrade it but you need a pandora battery, check my thread below this one and it tells you what to do.

Is there anyway that I can use the downgrader 3.50 anyway if I currently have firmware 3.80 and I have the the IC6001

Because you are on 3.80 the only way for you to downgrade is bu using pandora battery.

I have a slim and light 2002, the system soft wear is v 3.90
i'm not sure what the mother board is, i look for the numbers like in the picture but couldn't find anything.
If i get a pandora battery should i be able to downgrade it for homebrew?

I really depends. If you got your psp recently and its new there is a pretty good chance that it isnt hackable...
