It's not funny at all. Sony only releases small updates for security to stop people being able to do things with their PSPs like use homebrew. DAX does it to improve features.

Well yeah, I meant that it's funny because well, I don't know, I just had a good reason, but than I lost it, I'll post my reason why it's funny to me when I remember it.

but I dont think when sony say "security updates" they mean disabling homebrew, there are other things such as allowing different games to be played and better economising of the battery life, I heard

I'm not saying each update is 100% about stopping homebrew. Let's say 85%.

you need to keep this updated!! there IS a 2.8 downgrader, i used it and im now on 1.5!

Actually, he was on 1.5 when he put that. :P But than he updated to the OE.
