Hi! I'm new around here...

hallo guys. Nice to find this forum and join this community. I have a psp japanese version with firmware 1.50! i can play isos. I would like to know if i can upgrade to a better firmware that can still use homebrew and emulators. i would like to know how i can play videos/ and music with this FIrmware.
I do not know HOW to play videos... why is it diffucult? |

lol there is no rule about discussing isoz just no talking about how to use them or where to get them or how to rip them lol you can mention them like that all you want and yeah search the forum buddy all those questions have been asked many times :wink:

You would only want to upgrade if you desperately wanted some of the new features in the update such as web browser, rss feeds, location free player, wma support and such. Also some newer umd games require at least 2.0 firmware. If you upgrade you will lose your iso ability. Also with firmware 2.1 - 2.6 you would have to use the GTA exploit to run homebrew apps which also you will only be able to run a small percentage of those apps at this point.
