Mmm A TVremote becomes a bit pointless if you have to walk up to the TV and hold it couple of metres from the screen. Maybe someone will bring out a high powered clip on thingy?
I have a TV here on my desk not two feet away, and I'd still like a remote program so that I don't have to cycle through all the channels. Hotkeys would be AWESOME (CNN, Cartoon Network, TNT, etc.)

I'll try the Philips program on a few televisions, and post the results.

Yeah, the Zenith wasn't working, and it wouldn't work on my roommate's Sanyo either. I'll try the Sony one today.
