Unhappy HELP!!! Want to remove 4.05OCW

Ive had my PSP (UK) since it was launched and have always updated to the latest offical firmware. But I have now realised the PSP has more potential. I want to go CFW. I have a PSP 1003, firmware 4.05, and have the original battery (PSP-110). I also have the Datel Battery Service Tool which supposedly can turn the battery into a Pandora Battery. I have tried a few online methods to make a Pandora Mem Stick, but dont work with Battery. The battery in "Tool Mode" does turn power light green, but nothing else happens. I am really stuck. Can anyone help, PLEASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Read Mine and/or Kev tutorials in the homebrew section, Kevs is specific advice and instructions on the methods needed, mine looks into giving you a comprehensive overview of exactly what you can do with CFW

[TUTORIAL] Downgrading - Upgrading - Unbricking

get a cup of coffee, many people will skim them and miss the information needed. Read them twice if you have to
And please feel free to ask any questions. To answer your question, you basically want to make a Magic memory stick.

I have read the link and followed the instructions to create the memory stick. I did what the instructions said about putting the memory stick in first and then the pandora battery, but nothing happens. The green light comes on and that is it.

Any suggestions??????

A couple of questions -

What operating system do you use?

Is it a brand new slim that came with 4.05FW preinstalled?

Just what exactly are you doing to get the magic memory stick?

Did you use any formatting utility on the PC to format the Memory stick prior to having the files copied accross suchh as msformat, or mspformat? Or was this an automated process and you dont know

Which Magic Memory stick package did you use?

The operating system I used is XP. I got the PSP at launch in the UK, the FAT one, and stupidly have upgraded to the latest offical firware as it was released. To get the stick I followed the instructions that were posted in a link above, for someone without access to a second PSP. I only formatted the stick using the PSP as instructed. The tutorial was by Tergazzi, and I used the software they suggested.
