Default Just to get started

well im just waiting on receiving my psp, so ive been doing some reading in the meantime so i can get a good start on modding it once i get it. before i do anything, i was hoping to get some feedback on what i figured out to make sure everything goes smooth. heres what ive got so far:

- Its running FW 3.95, so i have to use "Make a Pandora Battery and Stick with no CFW PSP!"
- Is a 256mb memory stick okay? ive seen some people say it needs to be at least 512 and others say 256. also does the magic memory stick require PRO DUO, but game storage just require DUO?
- Do i need to have 2 batteries when doing this, or can i just use 1 and change it back? Also if i need another, should i just consider buying an already made pandora one off phiine.com instead?
- Do i only use the pandora battery when changing firmware, or can that be used as well when running the system regularly afterwords?

thanks for any feedback, sorry if some of the questions are stupid, id just rather know exactly what im doing as opposed to just doing things and accidently messing it up.

actually after thinking about it, i think a good idea would be for me to buy a pandora battery and 4GB mem stick, and just use my 256MB mem stick for the magic memory stick. as long as 256 is large enough to do it. but what i really need to know is, does the magic mem stick need to be PRO DUO or can it be just DUO
