You need to use the command prompt which isnt available on Vista - So either get used to not having custom firmware or find an WindowsXP computer to use.

FOLLOW THESE STEPS:

1. download msm.rar

2. Google MSPFORMAT and download it. mspformat.exe is necessary to create the 256kb of space where you install msipl.bin. If you don't run it, msinst.exe x msipl.bin won't be successful.

3. Launch a command prompt (start menu --> run --> and type 'cmd')
Navigate to the directory with the extracted files ---
eg. c:\magicpandora\

--- Then Run these 4 commands in this order (where X is your memory card's (or psp's) drive letter)

4.mspformat X

5.format X: /fs:fat

6.xcopy /KE ms\* X:\

7.msinst X MSIPL.BIN

you may have to hit Y for yes at the end of msinst X MSIPL.BIN

once this process is over place your memory stick into your PSP or switch it off if you were using it as a reader.
then put in your PANDORA BATTERY

The update should commence.

Ive done this twice. and been successful

My advice is to format ur hard drive and install XP. Then burn your Vista disk so you dont get any crazy ideas.

Another thing - you asked an awful lot of someone to make a video tutorial just for you. Give me a tenner and ill think about it You must pay me

Forgive my ignorance about Vista, I decided it was utter crud a long time ago and I know for sure, the command prompt doesnt work as it should, cos of the reports ive heard and my own utter dismay. The dysfunctional command prompt actually was the final nail in the coffin for me. I reinstalled XP and never looked back

Happy days
