I think this is quite an interesting debate. I have the iPhone so i know what the touch can do, i can only speculate the "wowness" of the psp GO! from what i have read about it. In all honesty, iTunes is a huge reason why i would stick to apple players etc because my entire music collection is on iTunes, and so for a music player, id use the touch, or my phone, infact im getting the 120gig ipod classic for all my music because well 32gig just aint enough.
As for a gaming device, the touch is good with its accelerometer etc, but the psp go will be dedicated to that and so i think it will win it hands down.
I can see a good comparison here as with new games releasing on the app store, the touch is entering the gaming market, but the psp is dominating it and for that reson id still get my ipod classic and then get the psp go.

Sorry that's rubbish! How can you equate God of War chains of Olympus with a crappy Spartan mini game for $0.99 on the apple app store. This game took a good while to develope specifically with the psp in mind and was a land mark in portable gaming terms. God of War won some awards may I add. Ipod touch will never realise the same as the psp has. Despite the problems the psp has faced with piracy it is still the leading handheld gaming system. For all those who worship the DSi here's a short faceoff video:

that prizefight thing is more like an opinion. some people would score more for having more battery life etc. or the more choice of games, or the touch screen.
some people will like one or the other, or both
Don't get so defensive Mr Roller it's just a joke! It's open to opinion like everything in this world!![]()
I have to admit, that is pretty funny ... lol
Ya the game sucks, I only got it cos it cost $1, when it was released it cost more though. But again the game sucks.
Seriously, wait another year, and we will see wether the iPod Touch will turn into a handheld console. For me it was enough to hear that Sims 3 was coming to iphone os to be convinced that the ipod touch is a console. Just wait a year and you'll see that all major franchises will come to the iphone os at the same time as they hit the consoles, they are already coming, mainly from EA and Ubisoft (Gameloft), just look at the upcoming games: SSX, C&C, Gangstar (GTA remake with 3D graphics), FIFA, then look at all the games that used to be popular on PCs that are coming or are available: Duke Nukem 3D, Wolfenstein and Doom and then look at what is out: Sims 3, Terminator Salvation, Assassins Creed, Real Racing, Brothers in Arms, Need for Speed (according to IGN its better than the PSP version) and Doom Ressurection. The only problem, the only thing that stops iphone from being a console is that games are generally too short, and I'm hoping that a premium app section in the appstore would fix that, because if the games cost more then lets face it they would be longer.
Another problem is that on id software, EA and Gameloft are taking ip

lol iPhone will always be a phone and not designed for gaming
While PSPGo is a trash damn expensive console I hope someone hack it when it's out![]()
