I like to download using wireless internet and upgrading my psp version and i went to play a game and my psp said the disc could not be read. But my brothers psp plays those games so i know they are not scratched. And i want to get oblivion when it comes out for psp. my parents think i downloaded a virus

Do you still have a warranty. What version are you useing? try updating. Or it could be your UMD drive, put your disc in and listen for anything wrong.
I dont think there is a psp virus

I've searched Google and it appears to be a VERY common problem, usually the result of heavy handling. No one seems to have a definite solution but some of the suggestions are... removing battery, restoring factory settings in the options and blowing into the UMD slot. Oh and someone suggested hitting it, but I wouldn't recommend that...
failing those things, you will probaby have to contact Sony. Someone seems to think a lot of PSPs have flimsy lenses. I imagine they'll just say send it in and pay to have it refurbished :/ |
