Don't know if it's any better than 07, but it has been getting good reviews according to metacritic. Probably worth it if you don't want to wait for Pro Evo.
EDIT: Sorry, that's for console versions, don't know about PSP version yet. Last edited by VAMP; 10-05-2007 at 12:18 AM. |

I LOVED 07 but sold it with my old PSP when I switched to the Slim. I have always been a Fifa fan so I might pick it up and give a first PSP-Forum review [with some 07 comparisons]. It doesn't come out until Tuesday here though so I gotsta wait.

I got fifa 08 a few days ago, been playing it all day since then. I never played 07 on PSP, so not sure about any improvements. But I can say that EA has done a decent job in learning from their shortcomings in comparison to the pro evo series. Fifa 08 has alot more control options, transfer options, and they even added a bunch of extra game modes (not sure if these were in 07 already though) like juggling and a quiz game about football around the world.
Online play is decent, but I am in a country where my ping is super high, so I usually get dropped mid-game. This is my fault though, not the games'. Ad-hoc with my friends is a breeze. Alot of friends who've been playing Fifa 08 on PSP and other consoles have been saying that it is finally a contender against pro evo, but I guess we have to wait and see what the new pro evo is gonna be all about. |
