Unhappy Lego Star Wars II - Save Game Problem - I Need a UK Gamesave to play

Hi all,

Did a search and it doesn't seem this has been posted before, I'm having serious problems saving a game to our memory card on LSWII-TOT.

It appears to be a common problem as the following is posted on LucasArts Forum

LucasArts Technical Support Forums

As you can see there is a fix, however the save game file in the thread is for the US Market and I am in England so please please please if any UK members have a working version I would much appreciate someone creating a new saved game and uploading it to the web where I can download it to complete the hack/fix until Sony/LucasArts figure out whose fault this is and fix it with an update.

Yay, that worked well, dloaded the saved game dumped it to my mem card then started a new game, went and created a random character and did a save and exit at that point in Mos Eisley (that way I don't have to do a whole chapter). Selected the saved game and away we go it will now use that game on the memory card for future saves.

For folks who find this thread with the same problem and don't want to download a half finished game please find attached to this post the 0.00% completed saved game I made.

Hope this helps lots of folks out there.

Official line from Lucasarts...

Hello,

The game only supports 32MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, and 2GB memory sticks which have all proven to save in-game data correctly.

So I guess the reason why mine is ok on my 4gb stick is because I created the save game on a 2gb and transferred it over when I bought the bigger one?

Hello everyone, just thought I would drop a line to say a big thanks to all who posted help on this thread. I was looking for a couple of days to try & sort this problem on my lad's psp. Really glad I found this forum, I downloaded the fix & the problem is sorted. Cheers for that, especially to Ghostydog for the fix.
