Using the custom firmware you can run the original PS1 versions of Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo 2. That is of course, assuming you own the originals and can create an ISO.

but they are nothing compared to GT4, IMO the best racing simulation game ever.

Obviously. Then again, I can virtually 100% guarantee the official PSP Gran Turismo (if it's ever released) is going to be nothing compared to GT4 or even GT3 for that matter. It's a case of making do with what you have and at the moment GT and GT2 on the PSP via PSX emulation is better than nothing. Let's not forget, despite the fact they're both over seven years old, they are still brilliant racing games.

well the last I heard, I think it was before christmas, was Polyphonic Digital (the developers) said it was to have an "Indefinite Release Date".
So in other words...GOD ONLY KNOWS

I think GameSpot still says that it is supposed to come out in Q4 2006.
