It's confirmed GTA requires 2.81 although it's possible it might work in Devhook. Either way, even if Devhook doesn't allow play I will wait for a loader that will work. With 2.81 having been decrypted it won't take much for the likes of Dark_Alex to have this UMD working on a 1.5 PSP.

Read the full IGN review here. It looks good but I suspect it's more of the same myself. That will be perfect for most people but after playing Saints Row on the 360 I now find GTA a little limited.

I got to play for an hour or so last night after the kids went to bed. Fun stuff, yeah - more of the same. But the 80's vibe is really nice. Bunches of music that I wouldn't have listened to in undergrad school but that has become more enjoyable as both me and the music age My wife was digging the tracks as I rode around town as well.

confirmed by qj.net that the game will run with devhook emulating 2.71! even though sources say the game requires 2.81

Why would it be needed? The only reason anyone would upgrade to 2.81 would be if GTA actually required it. If it works with Devhook emulating 2.71 there is no need really.

Yeah I go the game now, too, unfortunately I suck at all of the GTA games, so does anybody know where I can get a good game save file to play from, because I really am not good at completing the missions.

If I was unlucky enough to get a 2.71 that cannot be downgraded atm, do I have to upgrade to 2.81 to play VCS?

I got it It's sooo much fun, just like you'd expect it to be, there's never been a GTA that I didn't like though.

@ Harrison, no, you don't, Ryder just said you don't.

I was just playing it for a second earlier when it was sooo much fun... I just paly it again now, and here's what I say now, THIS GAME IS FU**ING AWESOME!!! You can swim in it too, I know what the only game I'm going to be playing untill Socom 2 comes out is, lol. If you want to know what it's like, picture GTA VC and SA put together, kinda. It's just great, if you get it, you won't be dissapointed.
