Ok i know a few ppl have posted similar topics but i wasnt able to find a definite aswer to my question. I am planning on buying SOCOM and intend on playing via infrastructure, but i dont have this code or password thing that people are talking about needing before they can play over the net. Can you play it at all without this code OR can u get one of these codes from sumwhere? Thanks!

Nah not YET. How come? I dont want to buy it unless i know for sure i can use internet play and sort out this code thing.

well then how do u know there well be a problem

do you have wireless internet running through your house? if so you can go online and the code and password thing just ignore that...

well you have to make sure you router is not encrypted meaning you don't need a wep key...its really hard to explain////b

if its his wireless his parents should know the wep key/wpa key, if your room is far away from the router i suggest getting a wireless g booster.

Oh the router and computer are in my room. Iv got the whole wireless thing sussed, like im on the net on my PSP in my room and everything. Im not using a WEP key, but i know i can still set one up, and the router it G + B. I was just making sure i can work around the code thing ur meant to need, and it seems that IS possible..?
