Test Drive Unlimited

This game looks like it is going to be one of the best games yet for PSP. I was just reading about it on PSP411. I can't wait until it's released. Here are some cool little features:

• -Set in the beautiful island of Hawaii
  -You can drive cars as well as ride motorcycles
  -Customization of cars and bikes
  -Visit different dealerships to buy cars, or take them for a test drive
  -You can trade your cars with people over the net
  -And the best one: You can free roam over the internet, so you'll be driving with real people!

I'm getting the game just for that last one. How cool would that be? See some guy fly by you, so you floor it and catch up with him, then stop at the next red light and drag race!!! This is gonna be one hell of a game.

Sounds good, but don't get too excited, it might not be as good as you hope. All of those sound cool, but if the graphics aren't great and/or the physics suck, then the game will suck imo. I've never been a fan of Test Drive games, but it sounds cool so far.

Yea, I hear ya. Graphics and physics are what matter most to me in a driving game, and all of the past Test Drive games weren't too great in those two categories.

But if it was Gran Turismo, that would be the #1 game on my list.

haven't played a test drive game, is it a racing game yeah? what kind of format like? illegal street racing? challenges?

I'll just go and look

edit: had a look, looks quite good, but is it going to be an online only game?

Yea, it's kind of illegal (cops chase you sometimes and there's traffic) but it's mostly just about racing.

I doubt it'll be just for online. But the coolest feature on there (IMO) requires a connection

when Test drive came on PS1 i was deeply depressed...i loved the old test drive games from the late 80's to the early 90's but the new ones...just felt so generic..

We will see how the PSP version is but all in all.... i really dont expect much.

But still, don't you agree that free roaming with REAL people instead of the CPU will be absoutely AWESOME???

dirtbikr: maybe as i really dont like freeroaming that much unless it has some sort of a "mission" ..
(im not a big fan of GTA styled games really but yes some of the missions roxx)
