Default Valkyrie Profile requires which system version?

Hi there, I was jsut wondering if anyone got a chance to try out the new Valkyrie Profile game on thier system. Does anyone know if the game requires a specific system version, like sys version 2.7? I have a 2.5 and want to know if it will play on my system. Anyone try the game on a 2.5?
Thanks

I doubt it requires v2.7... I'm guessing v2.6. If that's the case, just update it (it'll ask you to update on the menu screen if you didn't know). Plus, you can downgrade v2.5 & v2.6 to v1.5 anyways and use Devhook to play it.

yeah i know about the downgrader and devhook... i have been considering a downgrade, but really dont want to loose my custom backround(as lame as that sounds) i'm rather happy with my 2.5, just wondering if anyone knows about this specific game's firmware requirments.

hmmm 2.6 migfht be ok.... i thought in 1.5 you can't have a custom background. with 2.6 do most of the same things (emu GTA loader) still work?
