It tricks your PSP into thinking it's playing on ad-hoc when in reality you're playing it online. I know it works for Monster Hunter Freedom. You still need the router and stuff like that. (I'm not 100% sure what Xlink Kai is, but I have a general idea. Use it at your own risk!)
