Default even thou this is probally legal

it shouldn't be legal and i think it is because i think you must be doing this without the permission of Sony and you should have a least a contract to proof this ps therefore what you are doing is illegal.

okay, I'll semi-quote Weezer's post from another thread to describe hombrew. Let's think of the PSP like a broom, sure it's originally made for one thing, sweeping, but if you want to take that broom and do something that the manufacturer didn't intend for it to do, like beating someone over the head with it, it should be your right to do so. It sounded a lot better when Weezer said it, but you should still get the point. And homebrew isn't illegal, just ISOs and stuff like that, unless you have the game.

Default No need for emulators

Yesterday SEGA announced the winter release of the SEGA Mega Drive Collection - a compilation of 30 of the best titles to grace the Mega Drive. The official press release was rather coy when it came to what titles would be included, only revealing a handful of games, but 1up.com has uncovered the full list.

Classics such as Alex Kidd, Altered Beat, Ecco the Dolphin, Eternal Champions, Golden Axe, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Vectorman are all present in what looks like a rather nice package. You'll also notice that the list below includes three unlockable titles that are exclusive to the PS2.

Now, if only SEGA would release something similar for 32X and Mega CD games.

Full list of games featured in the SEGA Mega Drive Collection:

Alex Kidd - The Enchanted Castle
Altered Beast
Bonanza Bros.
Columns
Comix Zone
Decap Attack
Ecco the Dolphin
Ecco: The Tides of Time
Ecco Jr.
Eternal Champions
Flicky
Gain Ground
Golden Axe
Golden Axe II
Golden Axe III
Phantasy Star II
Phantasy Star III
Phantasy Star IV
Ristar
Shadow Dancer: Secret of Shinobi
Shinobi III
Sonic The Hedgehog
Sonic The Hedgehog 2
Super Thunderblade
Sword of Vermillion
Vectorman
Vectorman 2
Virtua Fighter 2

What a complete waste of money. Most of them can be played on Emulators.

True... but only if you don't have upgraded firmware. Unless you know of one that works on the latest firmware?

Why would you hope that? So all of the people who try to use it break thier PSPs? Homebrew, IMO, is perfectly fine, it's just some of them are a little illegal if you don't do certain things. Oh and by the way, that won't happen as long as us homebrew users pay attention.

Ronnie, were you dropped on your head by any chance? If you would honestly pay $30+ for a set of OLD games (half of which you probably already own), which could be picked up at a pawn shop for like $5 for their original systems, your NUTS. Sony doesn't play fair, so why should we? I mean this game will end up being at least $30. Why should we pay $30 for games we have ALREADY BOUGHT, and are technologically inferior?
