To be honest I never played either...but I hear people saying that even though Rivals is older, they like it better because it has more different types of races and more variety in general, but with Most Wanted, there is just one type of race (run from the PO-PO  )

I have both. I have just got rivals and havn't completed much yet. But at the moment it's betta because theres all drags and drifting and most wanted gets a bit boring. nfsmw has police but which makes it a bit exiting. make up your own mind

Default most wanted all the way

I own Most Wanted and my boyfriend owns both...I've played Rivals and it lacks so much. The graphics are grainy and not impressive, and the soundtrack sucks (true of all NFS games  ). With most wanted there are multiple kinmds of races: circut, heat challenge, sprint, lap knockout, and outrun! Customization is pretty cool, although not as in depth as Rivals, personally i don't see the need for custom headlights and taillights, afterall it is a racing game! Overall, i'd go with Most Wanted 5-1-0, but you can make your own choice

You're a girl! (I hope, lol. Either that or you're gay.)

Some differences: Rivals- more underground, cooler races, MW- daytime racing, cops, more exotic cars.

Things they share: They both suck imo, not many cars, not many mods, no free roam.

Default yes...i am a girl

Lol yes I am a girl. Does that come as a surprise for you? I agree that both need more modifications and a free roam mode, but for a handheld I think EA did try...and may have made it, even if only by the skin of their teeth.

It's just that there's only a couple girls here at the most. And if they had more cars, mods, and free roam, I'd be happy. I'd like just a NFSUG 2 port; that game pwned imo. I'm hoping that their next game, NFS Carbon (or something like that), will be better than these two.

Midnight Club III: DUB Edition has free roam, and pretty good graphics too.

yeah...carbon is on the "buy" list for me...is midnight club good? I've heard mixed reviews but I'm not sure. How about the racing? Good controls and whatnot?

Yea... I think it's great. Easy to control, racing is fun, the whole nine

(Much like NFS:Underground 2 for PS2)
