Staring PSP into Main Menu - PSP-Forum.com

Does anyone know how i can start my psp and make it go into main menu right away instead of loading the game as it starts. It is really annoying watching it load gta and then me having to exit it to get into main menu.

Try putting it to sleep next time you turn it off instead of doing a full (holding the switch for 3 seconds) powerdown.

yeh... its really annoying.. i think there's a way .. somet to do wiuth the parental level.. :?

open the UMD latch and turn the psp on! that should do it

Just change your parental level to 1

By putting the parental level to 1 it just asks you to put in the password at the startup, this was a grat suggestions but when you enter the password it starts the game just like it normaly would.

Maybe they should put this option in a new update for example :
hold "home" button on startup to just load menu instead.

i just open the latch but its getting kind of annoying. The guy at the "sony store" told me to live with it lol.

And by putting the psp into sleep mode how much battery is it using? because if it is the same as doing the complete "off" im gonna sleep it 24/7.?

sleep mode drains hardly any battery life. i go to bed with it off and during the day when i dont use it i put it in sleep. it would be fine if you put it in sleep when you're in bed, though. thats just what i do.

When it asks you for the password just hit O and it goes to the main menu
