i would recommend burnout legends for racing and maybe daxter for action...although daxter takes time...

okay here we go

action: socom,syphon filter,
racing,ridge racer,burnout

and if you liked it on PS2 get prince of persia and if you havent played it on PS2 and like fun action/puzzle game's (the puzzles are fast paced and alot fo the time you forget there puzzles :P )

GTA isnt as good as alot of people say it has more bug's then any other game in everything and the control's arent very good either

Key of Heaven, its the best game for psp ever also releasing next year, Metal Gear Solid PO, it's a year from release and it's already 5th in the IGN top 10 PSP game chart!

if you like rpg's id wait for ff crisis core. comes out in august. another game i have an eye on is monster hunter. i heard its good and it looks freakin awesome. another good good game thats coming out is gt mobile. it should hopefully come out this year... im tired of waiting for it.

i got NFS and GTA with mine, gta is a must have, need for speed is good and fun but the life of the game isn't that long, if you want a decent racing game go for colin mcrae, even though its hard to master, its addictive, or just wait till GT-Mobile comes out (if it ever does)

i would recommend Everybody's Golf (Hotshots Golf I think it is in US), I know its not racing or action but its really addictive. I got my PSP back in September and i still play it now and again.
