Default Which racing games have Rubber band AI?

HI,

Which PSP racing games that you have (eg RR, Burnout, Wipeout, MX vs ATV, NFS MW) have a strong rubber band effect? (where if your are far ahead, the ai get a speed boost, or if you are far behind, the ai slow down)

Which ones don't have any?

Are you sure? Somtimes it seems like it when I am like 6 or 7 seconds ahead and the second place car catches up in less then a lap.

Hey thanks!

FYI, i read a review that said the mx/atv series has rubber band ai.

I just wanted to know because it really annoys me sometimes that on the last lap I can race past a car, then on the last lap have it next to me again, so if i pusgh the car to its limits and make a miscalculation, I lose, when if things were fair, i could still win after having the mishap. I wonder if the system encourages people to play safely and not push a car to the limit.

If its strong rubber band ai, this annoys me. Looking over your shoulder and seeing a car come at you at eg 600 kph (o, I'm exagerating) is annoying to me. It also wrecks up checking lap times after a race - how really do i compare speedwise with the ai?

Minor rubber band is ok i guess, it keeps thing close without being ridicuolous.

It doesn't feel to me that Ridge Racer has that effect.

I don't know what you are talking about. Burnout is the game with rubber band effect. It happened to me many times when AI would fly by me at lightning speed and I was never able to catch up. Iv never seen anything like that in MW. When AI would pass me, if I would do good, I still catch up. Maybe you should just get a better car.
