im not sure what you mean by this its a 1v1 human vs human and nothing is cotrolled by computers save the base runners.

so every person playing on both teams is actually a person? instead of like in need for speed where theres 2 other computer cars racing with you and the other person

wow have you ever played a baseball video game before? with online play there are two humans playing against egother when one team is at bat the human whos team is at bat always controls the batter up and also controls the base runners (base runners are somewhat controlled by computers because they will automatically run to the next base if you hit a grounder or hit a ball in between the feilders, they will only stay on base and not run if its obvious after hitting a fly ball a feilder will catch it) if your team is on the feild then you mostly control the pitcher (i.e. you choose where to through a slider or a knuckle ball) if the batter hits it the control of the feilders will toggle acording to which player is closest the ball, so basically your always in control, but yes the computer is always controling somepart of your team. afterall it would be very difficult to manage an entire baseball team by yourself.

when playing not online like in a season or career mode its the same thing xept the opposing team isnt controlled by a human, but a computer.

yeah its a very good game i havnt played on online but i bought my psp so i could have this game on the road...i really miss MVP and i hate the fact NCAA bought it out for college baseball, i mean who plays college baseball, who even watchs college baseball until the college world series, but anyways its a good game and i would fully recommend it

but yeah only 2 only players play each other, but that would be an interesting concept if 18 players played at one time, 9 to a team and each player assigned a position player but i can only imagine the mayhem
